DIEP with Implants

Patient 1501: Patient is a 44-year-old female. She is 5’1” and weighs 126lbs. Pre-operative bra size was a 36B. Patient was diagnosed with breast carcinoma for which she underwent bilateral nipple-sparing mastectomies with immediate autologous reconstruction with bilateral DIEP flap and implant based reconstruction. Implants are 190cc smooth surface, low plus profile silicone. Post-operative bra size is a C. 

Patient 1502: Patient is a 32-year-old female, mother of 2. She is 5’3” and weighs 131lbs. Pre-operative bra size was a 34D. Patient was diagnosed with left-sided breast cancer for which she underwent upper outer quadrant open lumpectomy. Patient underwent bilateral skin-sparing mastectomies with autologous reconstruction by way of DIEP flaps and implant based reconstruction. Implants are 255cc smooth surface, highly cohesive, moderate profile silicone. Patient also underwent nipple pigmentation in our office. Post-operative bra size is a D.

Patient 1503: Patient is a 44-year-old female, mother of 3. She is 5’0” and weighs 128lbs. Pre-operative bra size was a 34DD. Patient was diagnosed with ductal breast carcinoma for which she underwent bilateral skin-sparing simple mastectomies with immediate autologous reconstruction with DIEP flaps and implant based reconstruction. Implants are (right) 240cc and (left) 275cc smooth surface, responsive, moderate profile, silicone. Patient also underwent nipple pigmentation in our office. Post-operative bra size is a DD.

Patient 1504: Patient is a 42-year-old female, mother of 2. She is 5’4” and weighs 160lbs. Pre-operative bra size was a 36B. Patient was diagnosed with left-sided breast cancer for which she underwent bilateral nipple-sparing mastectomies with autologous DIEP flaps and implant based reconstruction. Implants are (right) 240cc and (left) 295cc smooth surface, responsive, moderate profile silicone. Post-operative bra size is a D.
