Latissimus Flap Reconstruction

Patient 1401: Patient is a 50-year-old female, mother of 3. She is 5’0” and weighs 144lbs. Pre-operative bra size was a 36D. Procedures include right-sided breast reconstruction using a right-sided Latissimus Dorsi Flap with silicone-filled implants, following a right-sided mastectomy. Implants are (right) 475cc high profile silicone and (left) 360cc moderate profile silicone. Post-operative bra size is a 36D.

Patient 1402: Patient is a 37-year-old female, mother of 2. She is 5’0” and weighs 141lbs. Pre-operative bra size was a 36B. Patient has a history of breast carcinoma for which she underwent a previous right-sided mastectomy and chemotherapy/radiation. Patient had a prophylactic left skin-sparing mastectomy with immediate reconstruction and right-sided delayed reconstruction using a Latissimus flap with silicone filled implants. Implants are (right) 460cc and (left) 500cc round silicone. Post-operative bra size is a 36C. 

Patient 1403: Patient is a 69-year-old female, mother of 4. She is 5’0” and weighs 150lbs. Pre-operative bra size was a 34D. Patient has a history of breast carcinoma for which she underwent bilateral skin-sparing mastectomies 20 years prior to reconstruction. She received radiation therapy to the right chest wall and had significant scarring. She underwent right-sided delayed reconstruction using a Latissimus flap with silicone filled implants. Implants are bilateral 700cc round silicone. Post-operative bra size is a 34D. 

Patient 1404: Patient is a 40-year-old female, mother of 2. She is 5’8” and weighs 150lbs. Pre-operative bra size was a 34D. Patient has a history of breast carcinoma for which she underwent bilateral mastectomies. Procedures include breast reconstruction using a Latissimus flap on the left side and bilateral implant based reconstruction. Implants are smooth, cohesive 470cc round silicone. 

Patient 1405: Patient is a 44-year-old female, mother of 3. She is 4’11” and weighs 109lbs. Pre-operative bra size was a 32A. Patient had a history of breast cancer for which she underwent bilateral nipple-sparing mastectomies. Procedures include implant based reconstruction and left-sided Latissimus muscle flap. Implants are bilateral 320cc smooth round silicone.
