Nipple Reconstruction

Patient is a 57-year-old female. She is 5’4” and weighs 138lbs. Pre-operative bra size was a 36C. Patient has a long history of breast carcinoma for which she underwent bilateral skin-sparing mastectomies with immediate bilateral autologous reconstruction by way of DIEP flaps. Procedures also included bilateral nipple reconstruction. Post-operative bra size is a C.

Patient is a 53-year-old female, mother of 2. She is 5’1” and weighs 142lbs. Pre-operative bra size was a 34C. Patient was diagnosed with small invasive ductal carcinoma for which she underwent bilateral skin-sparing mastectomies with immediate autologous reconstruction by way of DIEP flaps. Procedures also include bilateral nipple reconstruction and bilateral nipple pigmentation. Post-operative bra size is a D.

Patient is a 42-year-old female, mother of 2. She is 5’3” and weighs 166lbs. Pre-operative bra size was a 36C. Patient was diagnosed with right breast invasive ductal carcinoma for which she underwent bilateral mastectomies. Procedures include implant based reconstruction (bilateral 425cc smooth shell surface, high profile, silicone implants), nipple reconstruction and nipple pigmentation. Post-operative bra size is a 36C.

Patient is a 38-year-old female, mother of 2. She is 5’2” and weighs 156lbs. Pre-operative bra size was a 36D. Patient tested positive for BRCA gene mutation with a strong family history of breast cancer. Patient underwent elective prophylactic mastectomies following immediate implant based reconstruction (bilateral 550cc smooth shell surface, high profile, silicone implants), and bilateral nipple reconstruction. Post-operative bra size is a 38D.

Patient is a 46-year-old female, mother of 2. She is 5’6” and weighs 218lbs. Pre-operative bra size was a 36B. Patient was diagnosed with right-sided invasive breast cancer for which she underwent a right-sided non skin-sparing mastectomy. Patient underwent immediate bilateral breast reconstruction (right side delayed – left side immediate) by way of DIEP flaps, following a left-sided skin-sparing mastectomy. Procedures also include immediate bilateral nipple reconstruction and bilateral nipple pigmentation. Post-operative bra size is a D.

Patient is a 38-year-old female, mother of 3. She is 5’2” and weighs 150lbs. Pre-operative bra size was a DD. Patient was diagnosed with left-sided intraductal carcinoma for which she underwent bilateral skin-sparing mastectomies with immediate autologous breast reconstruction with DIEP flaps. Procedures also included were bilateral nipple reconstruction. Post-operative bra size is a DD.
