Unilateral stacked DIEP

Patient 1601: Patient is a 69-year-old female, mother of 3. She is 5’4” and weighs 177lbs. Pre-operative bra size was a 38C. Patient previously underwent a left-sided lumpectomy for ductal carcinoma. Invasive carcinoma was found and patient then underwent a left-sided skin-sparing mastectomy. Procedures include delayed reconstruction of left breast by way of stacked D

Patient 1602: Patient is a 48-year-old female, mother of 2. She is 5’4” and weighs 164lbs. Pre-operative bra size was a 36D. Patient was diagnosed with right-sided breast cancer for which she underwent a right-sided mastectomy. Procedures include right-sided stacked DIEP flap and left-sided breast reduction. Post-operative bra size is a D. 

Patient 1603: Patient is a 49-year-old female, mother of 5. She is 5’4” and weighs 139lbs. Pre-operative bra size was a 34DD. Patient was diagnosed with right-sided breast cancer for which she underwent a right-sided mastectomy. Procedures include right-sided breast reconstruction by way of stacked DIEP flap, a left-sided mastopexy, and nipple reconstruction. Post-operative bra size is a D.

Patient 1604: Patient is a 49-year-old female, mother of 2. She is 5’2” and weighs 185lbs. Pre-operative bra size was a 42DD. Patient was diagnosed with left-sided carcinoma for which she underwent a left-sided mastectomy. Procedures include left-sided autologous reconstruction by way of stacked DIEP flap, left-sided nipple reconstruction and right-sided breast reduction. Post-operative bra size is a D. Patient also underwent nipple pigmentation in our office. 

Patient 1605: Patient is a 46-year-old female. She is 5’4” and weighs 137lbs. Pre-operative bra size was a 34C. Patient underwent a previous left-sided mastectomy which she then developed post-operative lymphedema of the left upper extremity. Procedures include stacked DIEP flap to the left breast and right-sided mastopexy for symmetry. Post-operative bra size is a C.

Patient 1606: Patient is a 40-year-old female, mother of 3. She is 5’0” and weighs 139lbs. Pre-operative bra size was a 32A. Patient has a history of breast cancer and previously underwent a right-sided mastectomy several years prior to reconstruction. She developed recurrent cancer which required radiation to the chest wall. Procedures include delayed autologous reconstruction by way of DIEP flap to the right side and left-sided breast augmentation for symmetry. Implant used was Mentor 334cc low height, moderate plus projection, silicone. Post-operative bra size is a D.

Patient 1607: Patient is a 65-year-old female, mother of 2. She is 5’7” and weighs 182lbs. Pre-operative bra size was 38C. Patient underwent a previous right-sided mastectomy for breast carcinoma with chemotherapy and radiation. Procedures include delayed right-sided reconstruction using stacked DIEP flap, right-sided nipple reconstruction, and left-sided mastopexy for symmetry. Post-operative bra size is a C.

Patient 1608: Patient is a 44-year-old female, mother of 2. She is 5’2” and weighs 134lbs. Pre-operative bra size was a B. Patient underwent a left-sided skin-sparing mastectomy. Procedures include a left-sided stacked DIEP flap and left-sided nipple reconstruction. Post-operative bra size is a B.

Patient 1609: Patient is a 72-year-old female, mother of 2. She is 5’5” and weighs 155lbs. Pre-operative bra size was a 34B. Patient was diagnosed with left breast infiltration ductal carcinoma for which she underwent previous upper inner quadrant lumpectomy. She developed some extensive fat necrosis which had developed a mass. Patient then underwent a nipple-sparing mastectomy and procedures included a stacked DIEP flap on the left side. Post-operative bra size is a 34B.

Patient 1610: Patient is a 56-year-old female. She is 5’5” and weighs 204lbs. Pre-operative bra size was a 40D. Procedures include a right-sided, non-skin sparing mastectomy, delayed reconstruction using bilateral DIEP flap. Post-operative bra size is a 40D.
