Patient Details
45-year-old patient, 4'5" and 160 lbs, with a history of right-sided breast carcinoma treated with chemotherapy and radiation. She previously underwent bilateral skin-sparing mastectomies and later proceeded with delayed autologous breast reconstruction using a stacked DIEP (deep inferior epigastric perforator) and PAP (profunda artery perforator) flap technique.
This 4-flap approach provided sufficient volume using tissue from both the abdomen and upper thighs, while preserving muscle integrity and allowing for a natural breast contour. Her final revision included autologous fat transfer to further enhance shape and symmetry.
