Patient Details
60-year-old patient, 5'6" and 160 lbs, diagnosed with right-sided breast cancer. She underwent bilateral skin-sparing mastectomies followed by immediate autologous breast reconstruction using a stacked DIEP (deep inferior epigastric perforator) and PAP (profunda artery perforator) flap technique.
This 4-flap reconstruction utilized tissue from both the abdomen and upper thighs to achieve adequate breast volume and contour while preserving muscle function and promoting a natural appearance.
