Patient Details
43-year-old patient, 5'4" and 135 lbs, with a history of left-sided breast cancer previously treated with lumpectomy and neoadjuvant chemotherapy. She subsequently underwent bilateral mastectomies with immediate autologous breast reconstruction using a stacked DIEP (deep inferior epigastric perforator) and PAP (profunda artery perforator) flap technique.
This 4-flap approach utilized tissue from the abdomen and upper thighs to restore breast volume and contour, while maintaining muscle preservation and achieving a natural aesthetic outcome.
