Patient Details
35-year-old patient, 5'4" and 118 lbs, diagnosed with left-sided breast cancer. She initially underwent a left-sided skin-sparing mastectomy followed by adjuvant chemotherapy and radiation.
After completing treatment, she proceeded with a right-sided skin-sparing mastectomy and immediate autologous reconstruction using a stacked DIEP (deep inferior epigastric perforator) and PAP (profunda artery perforator) flap technique.
This 4-flap approach utilized tissue from the abdomen and upper thighs to restore volume and achieve symmetry, while preserving muscle integrity and supporting a natural result.
