Patient Details
57-year-old patient, 5'4" and 158 lbs, with a history of right-sided breast carcinoma treated with mastectomy and adjuvant therapies (excluding radiation). She later underwent a prophylactic left-sided mastectomy with immediate bilateral autologous breast reconstruction using a stacked DIEP (deep inferior epigastric perforator) and PAP (profunda artery perforator) flap technique.
This 4-flap approach utilized tissue from the abdomen and upper thighs to restore volume, improve symmetry, and achieve a natural breast contour while preserving muscle integrity.
