Patient Details
40-year-old patient, 5'2" and 160 lbs, who underwent bilateral nipple-sparing mastectomies with immediate autologous breast reconstruction using DIEP (deep inferior epigastric perforator) flaps.
In Stage II, to improve breast symmetry, projection, and volume, she underwent bilateral autologous fat grafting combined with breast implant placement.
This hybrid reconstruction approach allowed for enhanced fullness and refined contour while maintaining the benefits of her autologous foundation.
