Patient Details
51-year-old patient, 5'4" and 142 lbs, with a history of right-sided breast cancer. She underwent bilateral mastectomies followed by adjuvant radiation therapy.
She proceeded with autologous breast reconstruction using a bipedicle DIEP (deep inferior epigastric perforator) flap technique. To further improve symmetry and volume, she later underwent placement of bilateral breast implants with Galaflex mesh for soft tissue support and enhanced contour.
