Patient Details
31-year-old patient, 5'5" and 124 lbs, with a significant family history of breast cancer and a confirmed BRCA gene mutation. She underwent bilateral prophylactic nipple-sparing mastectomies with immediate implant-based reconstruction.
Stage 1 included placement of tissue expanders at the time of mastectomy. Stage 2 involved exchange to bilateral silicone-filled implants. Stage 3 included autologous fat grafting to each breast to address asymmetry and optimize final contour.
