Patient Details
44-year-old patient, 5'5" and 177 lbs, who underwent bilateral skin-sparing mastectomies followed by staged implant-based reconstruction.
Stage 1 involved placement of tissue expanders. Stage 2 included exchange to permanent silicone gel-filled implants (Allergan textured) with autologous fat grafting for contour refinement.
Stage 3 consisted of revision breast reconstruction with implant exchange from Allergan textured implants to Allergan smooth surface round implants. GalaSHAPE 3D was utilized as an internal bra to provide additional soft tissue support and improve implant stability and positioning.
